Vista Avenue Apartments, located in the King's Hill Neighborhood at the base of the southwest hills of Portland, enjoys the unique situation of being located very close to many busy and important attractions while being almost hidden in it's own private and tranquil setting.  It is truly a garden paradise in the middle of the city.  Only a couple blocks away and America's largest urban park, Washington Park  boasts 410 acres and an endless variety of activities: miles of running trails, world class Japanese garden, the Portland zoo, a rose test garden with more than 7,000 roses, and acres of wild northwest forest.  Heading north and down Vista Avenue a couple blocks you enter the NW 23rd shopping district.  NW 23rd boasts a wide variety of fine restaurants, boutiques, pubs, a cinema, and cafes, all within an older established neighborhood with low rise buildings and a slower pace than downtown Portland.  If downtown or the Pearl District is what you want, these too can be reached within about a 20 minute walk.
